Job Overview

      We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join a critical transformation initiative involving migration from Oracle                    Database to SAP HANA and modernization of legacy systems.

      The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in core Java, with the ability to analyze existing codebases, understand business logic,            and contribute to building modern APIs and automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

·         Analyze and understand existing Java-based applications and business logic

·         Read, interpret, and break down complex Java classes and legacy code

·         Support migration of systems from Oracle to SAP HANA

·         Design and develop new APIs and automation solutions

·         Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system modernization initiatives

·         Ensure code quality, performance, and scalability

·         Participate in design discussions and technical decision-making

Required Skills

·         Strong hands-on experience in Core Java (7+ years)

·         Ability to:

·         Read and analyze complex Java codebases

·         Understand business workflows and logic

·         Translate legacy logic into modern solutions

·         Experience in API design and development

·         Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

·         Ability to work independently in a remote, US-shift environment

Good to Have Skills

·         Knowledge of SQL (Oracle and/or SAP HANA)

·         Experience in migration or modernization projects

·         Exposure to enterprise application architecture

·         Familiarity with automation or integration tools
