Roles & Responsibilities

  • Four-year undergraduate degree required, preferably in finance, accounting, business, or similar; MBA highly preferred.
  • 3-5 years of related FP&A experience, including consolidations and operational expense management; experience partnering with senior executive leadership.
  • Healthcare distribution and/or manufacturing experience desirable.
  • Proficiency with Hyperion Planning and Essbase; strong MS Office (Excel/PowerPoint); highly analytical with strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to travel up to 10%.

Requirements:

  • Consolidate and timely aggregate Products North America financial reporting for the VP of FPA, in partnership with Corporate FPA; maintain the close calendar and support presentation material.
  • Collaborate with Executive Leadership, Commercial Finance, Marketing, Operations, Corporate FPA, and Accounting; manage weekly/monthly/quarterly forecast cycles and the annual budget process.
  • Support category business owners with reporting of operational expenses, including headcount management, project tracking, and monthly/quarterly financial reporting; own the annual budget for assigned areas.
  • Routinely communicate operational expenses to business partners (historical and forecasted), document risks/opportunities, update forecasts/budgets, ensure financial alignment; work with accounting to ensure orderly close and accuracy of financial statements.

Job Summary: The Sr Financial Analyst is responsible for consolidating month-end reporting for the Products North American division of O&M and supports operational expense annual budgeting, financial forecasts, and financial analyses. The Sr. Financial Analysts is a key business partner and advisor to cross-functional leadership (including Finance, Marketing, Sales / Commercial, Accounting, and BU leaders), providing guidance and support to manage the OPEX performance of the BU product categories and directly supports the VP of FP&A, Products North America.

The anticipated salary for this position is $95k-$100k annually. The actual compensation offered may vary based on job related factors such as experience, skills, education and location.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for timely aggregation of Products North American financial reporting supporting the VP of FP&A and in partnership with Corporate FP&A and ensures accuracy of financial statements; maintain the close calendar; support presentation material

  • Works in close collaboration with Executive Leadership, Commercial Finance, Marketing, Operations, Corporate FP&A, & Accounting, including Weekly / Monthly / Quarterly forecast cycles; Annual budget process

  • Supports category business owners & provides cross-functional support through reporting of Operational Expenses, including but not limited to headcount management, project tracking, Monthly & Quarterly financial reporting, and Annual budget ownership.

  • Routinely communicates operational expenses to business partners (historical and forecasted), records of risk / opportunities, update forecasts/budgets, and ensures financial alignment

  • Works closely with the accounting team to ensure all aspects of the financial close process are orderly and contributes toward the accuracy of the financial results as reported in the company financial statements.

  • Encourages new ideas, processes and approaches. Champions and enables a culture of multidisciplinary problem solving, teamwork, flexibility, execution, quality and effective communication.

  • Performs additional duties as directed.

Qualifying Experience:

  • Four-year undergraduate degree required. Preferable in finance, accounting, business, or similar. MBA highly preferred.

  • 3-5 years of related FP&A experience, including a position of similar scope and impact.

  • FP&A experience in consolidations and operational expense management, including business partnership with senior executive leadership, is highly preferred.

  • Healthcare distribution and/or manufacturing experience is desirable.

  • Ability to travel, up to 10% of the time.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Highly analytical & personable with strong written & verbal communication skills – able to communicate financial concepts to non-financial audiences-strong attention to detail

  • Must have proven corporate financial analysis skills and experience with Hyperion Planning & Essbase financial systems

  • Expert knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage and implement complex financial projects.

  • Strong ability and experience managing and performing multiple concurrent tasks.

  • Thrives in a collaborative team environment

  • Ability to work independently
