  • Strong knowledge of Google tools (PMax, Value-Based Bidding), data connectors, product feeds (e.g., Feedonomics), and relationships with technology partners (Google, Meta, publishers).

Requirements:

  • Technical Leadership Delivery: Act as the senior escalation point for complex GMP-related challenges (DV360 and CM360); provide hands-on support across key client work; troubleshoot platform issues and guide solutions; maintain knowledge across GMP stack (SA360, GA4, etc.).
  • Team Leadership and Capability Building: Lead and develop a team of GMP practitioners; build a scalable, resilient capability; design upskilling initiatives; mentor senior team members.
  • Commercial Operational Ownership: Own the P&L for the GMP function, including forecasting, planning, and performance tracking; identify opportunities to increase platform adoption, usage, and revenue contribution; drive operational improvements for scalability, efficiency, and consistency across clients.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration and Partnerships: Work with media, strategy, sales, and data science teams to deliver integrated solutions; align GMP with broader marketing intelligence and effectiveness strategies; maintain relationships with Google GMP and other partners; stay ahead of platform developments and adopt new capabilities.

Role summary:

As a GMP Lead, you will act as the US subject matter expert for Google Marketing Platform, ensuring deep technical expertise, consistent ways of working and strong partnership alignment across our client base.

You are responsible for how GMP capabilities are applied across client engagements, ensuring platforms are implemented, optimized and leveraged to support effective marketing outcomes.

Working closely with global leadership and support teams, you bring consistency in standards, share best practices and ensure US client needs are reflected in the evolution of our GMP approach and partnerships.

You partner with client teams, marketing intelligence and activation specialists to ensure GMP platforms are used effectively within broader marketing strategies, providing technical guidance, troubleshooting and expertise where required.

As the central point of expertise, you stay ahead of platform developments, strengthen relationships with Google and other partners, and ensure Incubeta remains at the forefront of GMP capability and delivery.


Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership & Delivery

Act as the senior escalation point for complex GMP-related challenges, particularly across DV360 and CM360
Provide hands-on support across key client work, troubleshooting platform issues and guiding solutions
Maintain a strong working knowledge across the broader GMP stack (SA360, GA4, etc.)
Lead by example, actively contributing to delivery rather than operating purely at a distance

Team Leadership & Capability Building

Lead and develop a team of experienced GMP practitioners
Build a more scalable and resilient capability, reducing reliance on individual specialists
Design and implement structured upskilling initiatives across the GMP stack
Mentor senior team members and support their development in both technical and client-facing areas

Commercial & Operational Ownership

Own the P&L for the GMP function, including forecasting, planning, and performance tracking
Identify opportunities to increase platform adoption, usage, and revenue contribution
Drive operational improvements to support scalability, efficiency, and consistency across clients
Contribute to the broader commercial success of the Market Intelligence function

Sales & Growth Enablement

Partner closely with sales and growth teams to support new business opportunities
Lead the development of technical proposals and solution design for GMP-related pitches
Help position GMP as a strategic growth driver, not just a delivery function
Support cross-sell and upsell opportunities across existing clients

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with media, strategy, sales, and data science teams to deliver integrated solutions
Ensure GMP capability is aligned with broader marketing intelligence and effectiveness strategies
Contribute to a more connected, less siloed approach across the business

Partnership & Innovation

Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within Google GMP
Stay at the forefront of new platform developments, features, and industry changes
Drive adoption of new capabilities (e.g. privacy-first solutions, automation, AI-led features)

Requirements:

Certification and/or Licenses

Google Certifications in Campaign Manager 360, Search Ads 360 and Display & Video 360, and Google Analytics, and ideally, one or more Google Cloud Certifications

Experience - functional/industry/client/project knowledge

A minimum of 10 years’ experience within the digital agency industry.
Well-versed in performance marketing, yielding results for clients’ investments, i.e. sales/lead conversion and omni-channel acquisition
Experience in working directly with clients & commercial teams
Experience presenting and pitching for business with strong presentation skills
Experience with using data connectors to enable data/signal integration and enrichment that drive marketing efficiency
Very strong knowledge of Pmax, Value Based Bidding, and other Google tools & capabilities
Conversant/knowledgeable of product data feeds, and preferably one or two feed products (eg. Feedonomics)
Illustrate strong relationships with Technology partners; Google, Meta, publishers etc.

Demonstrated Competencies

Experience in working directly with clients & commercial teams
Experience presenting and pitching for business with strong presentation skills
Clear understanding of digital commercial models
Experience with data analysis & reporting tools (e.g. Google Analytics; Looker.
Ideally, experience with GCP tools (e.g. BQ, BQML, Vertex AI, etc.)
Familiarity with measurement plans & tracking

Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time based on individual and company performance. However, the initial salary offer is based on several factors such as the individual's location, relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position.
