Requirements:

  • Administer the Global Card Program day-to-day, including purchasing cards (P-Cards), travel/entertainment cards (TE Cards), corporate travel account cards (CTA cards), fleet cards, and student club cards.
  • Collaborate with the Manager and banking providers to order new cards, cancel cards, adjust credit limits, and ensure compliance with university controls and bank contracts.
  • Calculate the quarterly rebate and monitor program performance.
  • Act as a financial steward protecting the university's payment instruments and researching and investigating potential misuse of the payment card program.

Job description

Position Summary: The Global Card Program Senior Analyst performs the day-to-day administration of New York University’s Payment Card Program, which includes: purchasing cards (P-Cards), travel & entertainment cards (T&E Cards), corporate travel account cards (CTA cards), fleet cards, and student club cards. Work with Manager and various banking providers to order new cards, cancel cards, adjust credit limits, and ensure compliance with the University's controls and bank contracts. Calculate the quarterly rebate. Act as a financial steward protecting payment instruments of the university. Research and investigate potential misuse of the payment card program. Qualifications: Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Experience:
3+ years of relevant experience with financial analysis, procurement and/or accounts payable, including payment card program administration experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Experience:
5+ years of relevant experience with financial analysis, procurement and/or accounts payable, including payment card program administration experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Advanced skills with payment card program systems/portals and SAP Concur, and persuasive written and verbal communication skills are required. Demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding customer service and follow-up, and ability to work collaboratively teaming with different cross-functional groups in a complex institution is essential. Working independently, multi-tasking, training and problem solving skills are required.

Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Must be well versed in quality data collection to ensure adequacy, accuracy, and legitimacy of data in University systems and be able to strictly follow data privacy, record retention and security procedures for data handling and analysis to ensure adherence to legal and institutional standards.
Additional Information: In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $71,500.00 to USD $91,500.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
