MDVIP: Transforming Primary Care, One Patient at a Time

MDVIP is a national leader in personalized healthcare, empowering over 425,000 members to achieve their health and wellness goals through a network of more than 1,400 concierge primary care physicians. Our program emphasizes preventive medicine, offering comprehensive screenings, advanced diagnostics, and individualized wellness plans. Position Summary:

As a Manager of Physician Recruiting, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of MDVIP’s growing

network. This is a consultative, high touch recruiting role focused on identifying and engaging experienced

physicians who are an ideal fit for our membership model. You'll be the first point of contact, educating

physicians on how MDVIP enables them to deliver more personalized, patient-first care.

This role is ideal for a recruiter who thrives in a mission-driven environment and can balance thoughtful relationship-building with the urgency of goal attainment. You’ll be responsible for managing a pipeline of high-potential physician leads, qualifying them through in-depth conversations, communicating the value of the MDVIP model and guiding them through the decision-making process to successful close.

You’ll serve as a strategic advisor to physicians—guiding them through a major career decision—while also collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams including Sales, Marketing, and Physician Transition.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively source and engage physicians through multiple channels, cultivating a strong pipeline in key geographies.
  • Conduct in-depth screening calls to educate physicians on MDVIP’s model, assess interest and fit, and qualify next steps.
  • Manage candidate progress and documentation through CRM/ATS systems, ensuring clean transitions to internal teams after closing.
  • Partner cross-functionally to share market intelligence, provide candidate insights, and align outreach strategy with business goals.
Key Competencies:
  • Experience recruiting physicians, ideally in primary care, and understanding what motivates physicians to consider new models.
  • Ability to work across teams and influence internal and external stakeholders toward shared goals.
  • Proven ability to build trust with passive candidates and serve as a consultative advisor throughout the recruiting journey.
  • Comfortable operating against quotas and KPIs, with a history of exceeding placement targets or conversion metrics.
  • Skilled at developing and nurturing long-term relationships with prospective candidates through tailored messaging and regular follow-up.
  • Able to explain complex models in a compelling way, adjusting approach for different physician personalities and communication styles.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Three (3)+ years of professional experience in talent acquisition
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding performance goals and KPIs
  • Excellent communication, organizational and relationship-building skills
  • Experience working in a high-growth, mission-driven, or multi-stakeholder environment
  • Ability to travel up to 10%
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in physician or executive-level recruiting, ideally within healthcare or medical settings
  • Familiarity with physician compensation models or contract negotiation processes
