Overview

The QA Officer is responsible for quality review of learning resources and validation of assessment tool developed by instructional designers across a wide range of disciplines for the Vocational Education and Training (VET) industry. This role involves using generative AI technologies to enhance the validation process, ensuring that assessment tools are reliable, valid, and aligned with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

·        Validate assessment tools and learning resources developed for training packages under the VET industry to ensure these are valid, reliable, sufficient and current.

·        Conduct thorough quality checks on assessment tools to ensure accuracy, fairness, and relevance.

·        Ensure learning resources and assessment tools address the requirements of the accredited training package.

·        Implement principles of adult learning to ensure that materials are effective and engaging for the target audience.

·        Utilise generative AI technologies to effectivity and efficiency meet team goals and objectives.

·        Collaborate with our instructional design team to refine and improve quality of assessment tools and learning resources

·        Provide clear and timely project updates with QA Manager.

·        Take on ad-hoc learning resource and assessment tool review/validation.

Requirements

·        At least 2 years experience with content moderation or editing.

·        Exceptional editing and proofreading skills

·        Exceptional attention to detail

·        Strong command of English language and grammar rules.

·        Proficiency in using Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel

·        Strong verbal and written communication skills.

·        Task and time management skills

·        Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communication or similar is advantageous

·        Experience in prompt engineering for generative AI (ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, etc.) preferred
