The JN Group is seeking a highly creative content creator to join the Group Marketing Unit as SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR. The role manages, grows and enhances the organization’s online presence by creating and publishing content across social media platforms.

Job Category – CLERICAL

Contract- TWO YEAR FIXED TERM

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Content Creation and Curation

·       Curate relevant content from internal and external sources for posting

·       Create, capture and edit multimedia content including photography and video for use across social media platforms

·       Support social media promotional activities across social media platforms

·       Contribute to the development of effective content strategies for all client’s brands across various social media accounts

·       Conduct research for content strategies and social media engagement activities for relevance and appeal

Social Media Account Management

·       Create, maintain social media account, ensuring all public- facing content is current and aligned with brand strategy

·       Utilize media management tools to track performance to maximize results

·       Prepare monthly reports outlining social media analytics

·       Monitor engagement and performance metrics across platforms

Social Media Coverage

·       Provide live social media coverage for events including photography and video capture

·       Capture on site content and short form video for real-time content posting

·       Develop innovative and emerging live coverage strategies for various event types

 


Requirements


·       Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Integrated Marketing, Communication or related discipline

·       One to two years’ experience in social media account management, content creation and strategy execution

·       Strong written, photography and graphic design skills

·       Familiarity with video production techniques is an asset

·       Experience working in an agency environment is an advantage

·       Proficiency in social media platforms and management tools

·       Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends, as required

·       Availability to travel for content capture, events and content support
