  • Proven experience in a Senior Account Management role, ideally within Data Management, SaaS, BPO, or Enterprise Content Management (ECM).
  • Strong knowledge of information lifecycle solutions, including Digital Solutions and Document Management, with a track record of continuous professional development.
  • Proven ability in senior-level stakeholder management, demonstrating high financial acumen and the ability to influence strategy within a complex matrix organizational structure.
  • Experience of selling to Public sector/Central Government is valued but not essential.

  • Drive customer loyalty and revenue growth by acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, identifying strategic opportunities to align Iron Mountain solutions with their core business priorities.
  • Collaborate with internal sales specialists and global stakeholders to lead all commercial matters, including the negotiation of complex contracts and the creation of dynamic account plans that ensure long-term profitability.
  • Ensure operational excellence and compliance by monitoring revenue forecasts and interpreting contractual obligations to exceed service delivery standards for your assigned portfolio.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Job Summary

Iron Mountain is seeking a motivated and experienced Account Director to join our UK Sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for the retention and growth of all revenue streams for an assigned portfolio of large, complex Business Services customers.

You will join a high-performing Sales function focused on rapid expansion, working in a matrix organization to deliver digital and physical information management solutions across the United Kingdom.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will:

What You’ll Bring

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in a Senior Account Management role, ideally within Data Management, Software as a Service (SaaS), Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), or Enterprise Content Management (ECM).

  • Strong knowledge of information life cycle solutions, including Digital Solutions and Document Management, with a track record of continuous professional development.

  • Proven ability in senior-level stakeholder management, demonstrating high financial acumen and the ability to influence strategy within a complex matrix organizational structure.

  • Relevant industry expertise and a results-oriented approach to executing sales plans and meeting deadlines under pressure.

  • Experience of selling to Public sector/Central Government is valued but not essential
