Roles & Responsibilities

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Master's degree
  • 6+ years of experience leading software development teams with hands-on design/development/coding experience
  • Experience in a Scaled Agile (SAFe) environment and familiarity with Agile practices, backlog grooming, velocity, and metrics
  • Proficiency with Agile tools (Jira, Confluence) and experience with automated regression and/or system testing

Requirements:

  • Create innovative solutions for new and existing IRM customers, including high-level technical design and architecture
  • Design highly scalable, performant solutions and lead design discussions with Iron Mountain partner vendors; mentor the development team
  • Collaborate with domain leadership to develop product roadmap and align features; design using a microservices architecture
  • Mentor the development team and lead team-building, talent calibration, and related administrative activities

Senior Manager, Technology

This position will require the following Agile Skills:

Familiar with Jira Resource Boards, Dashboards, Filter creation, as well as familiar with Confluence.

Direct experience with automated regression and or system testing

Understand basic fundamentals of iterative development.

Understand other processes and methodologies and can speak intelligently about them and leverage other techniques to provide value to a team/enterprise.

Understand basic fundamentals of software development processes and procedures, preferably in a Scaled Agile (SAFe) context

Understand the value of commitments to delivery made by a development team.

Understand incremental delivery and the value of metrics.

Understand backlog grooming, burndown metrics, velocity, and BDD driven Acceptance Criteria.

This position will require the following Technical Skills:

Familiarity with programming languages & orchestration patterns: Python, Spark, Java, SQL

Familiarity with public cloud: Google Cloud, Amazon Web Service, Microsoft Azure; includes cloud infrastructure/networking/storage, cloud financial management, and cloud security

Familiarity with DevSecOps automation tools: Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, Artifact/Container Registry, Security Scanning, Vulnerability Management, Secrets Management, etc

Responsibilities

Responsibilities - 70% of the time :

  • Creating innovative solutions for new and existing IRM customers.

  • Creating high-level technical design and architecture.

  • Designing highly scalable & performant solutions.

  • Leading  design and solution discussions with various Iron Mountain partner vendors.

  • Implementing complex solutions.

  • Liaising with the domain  leadership team on existing features and developing product roadmap that caters to the market.

  • Designing  with  Microservices architecture

  • Mentoring development team.

Responsibilities - 30% of the time

Mentoring Dev team, team build efforts, talent calibration and other administrative activities.
