Team description:

The Network Engineering Operations team ensures the stability, reliability, and efficiency of the company’s global network infrastructure. Acting as the bridge between the Network Operations Center (NOC), engineering teams, and external vendors, the team manages incident resolution, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement of network platforms. We play a key role in maintaining seamless connectivity for customers, driving operational excellence, and supporting innovation across multi-platform environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Incident Management: Handle customer tickets, investigate reported issues, and ensure timely resolution within agreed SLAs.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with engineering teams, vendors, and suppliers to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Document troubleshooting steps and resolutions to improve processes and empower NOC and Customer Support teams.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Conduct post-incident reviews to identify systemic issues and recommend platform enhancements.
  • Project Involvement: Participate in special projects and task forces requiring multi-platform investigations and advanced problem-solving.
  • Change Management: Support network changes, ensuring minimal impact and adherence to operational best practices.
  • Performance Optimization: Monitor and analyze network performance to proactively prevent recurring issues.


Requirements

  • Solid understanding of IP networking, packet core technologies, VoLTE/IMS and telecom protocols (TCP/IP, GTP, SIP, DIAMETER, MAP, SMPP).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills using tracing tools and Wireshark.
  • Experience in Linux/Unix environments for network diagnostics (preferred).
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and implement effective solutions.
  • Strong communication skills for collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent documentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, 24/7 operational environment, including participation in on-call rotations.
