We’re hiring a Paid Ads Manager with direct experience in HVAC and home-services industries to manage and optimize performance-driven paid media campaigns. This is a hands-on, individual contributor role focused on execution, optimization, and measurable results—not people management.
This role is built for someone who understands HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, cleaning, junk removal, or similar service-based businesses, including seasonality, service-area targeting, lead quality, call tracking, and Google Local Services Ads (LSA). Candidates without real-world home-services paid media experience will not be considered.
You’ll manage campaigns across Google Ads, Meta Ads, and Google Local Services Ads (LSA), while collaborating with external Programmatic and Connected TV (CTV) partners to support upper-funnel and demand-generation initiatives.
Manage and optimize paid media campaigns for HVAC and home-services clients across Google Ads (Search, Display, PMAX, Video, Remarketing), Meta Ads, and Google Local Services Ads (LSA)
Own day-to-day optimization focused on calls, leads, booked jobs, CPA, and ROAS
Support planning and optimization of upper-funnel campaigns in partnership with external Programmatic Display and CTV vendors
Coordinate targeting, messaging inputs, budgets, and performance feedback with Programmatic/CTV partners
Implement, monitor, and troubleshoot conversion and call tracking using GA4, Google Ads, and lead-tracking platforms
Apply automated bidding and conversion optimization strategies (e.g., Maximize Conversions, Target CPA/ROAS) suited to service-based businesses
Analyze campaign performance to identify trends, inefficiencies, and scaling opportunities
Assist with testing and evaluation of new lead-generation platforms and channels (e.g., TikTok, Reddit, emerging ad networks)
Document workflows, optimization processes, and best practices to support consistency and scalability
Use AI-driven automation and reporting tools to streamline campaign management and insights
Stay current on platform updates, ad policies, and best practices specific to local and home-services advertising
Hands-on paid ads experience specifically within HVAC or home-services/service-based industries (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, cleaning, junk removal, etc.)
Proven experience managing Google Ads campaigns for local lead generation (Search, PMAX, Remarketing, Display)
Experience working in an Agency environment
Working knowledge of GA4, conversion tracking, call tracking, and attribution fundamentals
Experience using automated bidding and conversion-focused strategies
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data and make optimization decisions
Experience managing Meta Ads campaigns for local or lead-generation use cases
Non-negotiable: Prior experience working fully remote, fluency with remote collaboration tools (Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, Asana, or similar), and experience working with US- or UK-based companies. Candidates without this background will not be considered.
Important: This role requires real-world paid media experience in HVAC or home-services businesses. SaaS- or ecommerce-only backgrounds will not be considered.
Experience running or optimizing Google Local Services Ads (LSA) for HVAC or home-services clients
Experience collaborating with Programmatic Display and/or Connected TV (CTV) vendors
Familiarity with call and lead tracking platforms (WhatConverts, CallRail, or similar)
Working knowledge of Google Tag Manager
Experience testing emerging platforms (TikTok, Reddit, etc.) for local lead generation
Exposure to AI or automation tools used in paid media workflows
