Roles & Responsibilities

Experience as a product manager for accounting, fintech, or regulatory-compliant software (trust accounting preferred)
Strong understanding of trust accounting, regulatory compliance, and financial workflows for property management
Proven ability to conduct user research with property managers and accountants and translate insights into product requirements
Ability to define product vision and roadmap, prioritize backlogs, and lead cross-functional teams (engineering, design, legal, accounting) through the full development lifecycle

Requirements:

Develop and champion a product vision and roadmap for the Trust Accounting solution that aligns with company strategy and regulatory requirements
Plan and execute customer research to understand needs and translate insights and legal requirements into product specs and user stories
Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create intuitive accounting workflows and simplify complex processes
Oversee the full product lifecycle from ideation to launch, prioritize backlog, define success metrics, and drive reporting/insights capabilities for audit readiness

About the role

As a Staff Product Manager for Trust Accounting, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of how property managers handle financial compliance and accounting workflows. You will be responsible for defining and executing the product strategy for our embedded trust accounting solution, ensuring it meets the stringent regulatory requirements while delivering an exceptional user experience.

You'll work closely with a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, legal experts, and accounting professionals to deliver a seamless and compliant trust accounting system that helps our users manage their financial operations with confidence. To be successful in this role you will have to put yourself in the shoes of both property managers and accountants, being directly involved in the user research.

Your mission:

Develop and champion a product vision and roadmap for our Trust Accounting solution that aligns with the overall company strategy and regulatory compliance requirements.
Plan and execute thorough customer research and analysis to deeply understand the needs and pain of property managers and accountants, translating those insights along with legal requirements into product specifications and user stories.
Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and user-friendly experiences that simplify complex accounting workflows.
Partner with legal and accounting subject matter experts to ensure all regulatory requirements are properly addressed while maintaining excellent user experience.
Prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business objectives, compliance needs, and user requirements.
Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from ideation and design to development, testing, and launch of trust accounting features.
Define and analyze the metrics that determine success, ensuring the product not only meets compliance standards but also demonstrably simplifies the financial operations of the Property Managers we serve.
Spearhead the discovery of our reporting and insights layer. You'll identify the essential compliance reports, operational dashboards, and financial statements that provide clarity, ensure audit-readiness, and deliver indispensable value to our users.
