  • Vet talent via self-tapes and past content to ensure on-camera charisma and suitable lighting setups for remote creators.
  • Conduct audition interviews to test communication skills and professionalism.
  • Manage talent relationships: serve as primary contact, brief talent on project requirements and visual direction, negotiate rates and usage rights, and maintain a tagged talent database for rapid deployment.

With 50,000 sq. ft. of DTLA studios and a global influencer network, we’re ready to 10x our output in 2026—and we need a Casting Talent specialist who can hunt down the fresh faces, authentic voices, and charismatic creators that define our brands.

Authenticity, charisma, and connection are your playground. In the world of performance marketing, the "face" of the ad is often the biggest variable in its success. As a Casting Talent specialist, you are the detective and the connector. You aren't just filling roles; you are finding the specific personalities that make a viewer stop scrolling and start listening.

Your ability to distinguish between "cringe" acting and genuine influence will directly impact the ROAS (Return on Ad Spend) of our clients. If you have a natural eye for potential and love building relationships with creators, this is your launchpad.

What You’ll Do

  1. Scout & Source Creators

    • Proactively hunt for new talent on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and casting platforms. You won't just wait for applications; you will go out and find the hidden gems.

    • Build a diverse roster of actors, models, UGC creators, and real-people testimonials suitable for beauty, fashion, and tech brands.

    • Identify talent that matches specific demographic and psychographic profiles provided by the Strategy team.

  2. Vet for Performance

    • Review self-tapes and past content to ensure talent has on-camera charisma, good lighting setups (for remote creators), and the ability to deliver lines naturally.

    • Conduct brief audition interviews to test communication skills and professionalism.

  3. Manage Talent Relationships

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for our talent roster, building strong, long-term relationships.

    • Brief talent clearly on project requirements, scripts, and visual direction to ensure they nail the shoot on the first try.

    • Negotiate rates and usage rights effectively, maximizing value for our clients.

  4. Database Management

    • Maintain an organized, tagged database of talent (e.g., "Mom aged 30-40," "Gen Z Skincare Enthusiast") for rapid deployment on new campaigns.

Who You Are

  1. A Social Media Native

    • 1–3 years of experience in casting, influencer marketing, or talent management.

    • You understand the "vibe" of different platforms. You know what a "TikTok face" looks like versus a "TV commercial face."

  2. A Good Judge of Character

    • You have high emotional intelligence. You can tell within seconds of a video if someone is authentic or "acting."

    • You are inclusive and adept at finding diverse talent that represents the real world.

  3. Excellent Communicator

    • Strong English proficiency is required. You are comfortable negotiating with agents and guiding creators through a brief.

    • You are responsive and professional, representing High Scale well in the creator community.

  4. Organized & Fast

    • Casting often happens on tight timelines. You can manage multiple casting calls simultaneously without getting flustered.

    • You are diligent with paperwork, agreements, and contact details.
