In this role, you will apply your expertise across a set of interesting customers, diverse sectors and complex challenges, on both major transformations (typically 6-18 months) and smaller-scope engagements. Your daily responsibilities as a  Senior Software Engineer will be:

• Contribute to architectural and technological decisions throughout project delivery. 
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members. 
• Mentor colleagues to promote knowledge sharing and growth. 
• Participate in agile ceremonies and support efficient delivery practices. 
• Conduct thorough code reviews to maintain high code quality. 
• Promote and apply best practices in engineering and solution design. 
• Identify and address technical risks and impediments early. 
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure smooth delivery across the stack. 

Required Skills and Experience   

The following skills/experience are necessary:

• 5+ years of professional full-stack development experience, delivering enterprise-grade solutions across back-end, front-end, and cloud. 
• Strong back-end expertise with C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET Core, including RESTful API and microservice development. 
• Solid front-end experience with Angular, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, with the ability to build and maintain complex, performant UIs. 
• Practical hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (App Services, Functions, Storage, Identity, networking fundamentals). 
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps or equivalent CI/CD tooling. 
• Proficient with Git and modern branching strategies. 
• Solid understanding of software design principles, SOLID, and clean architecture. 
• Experience with automated testing practices and CI/CD pipelines. 
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues, make sound technical decisions, and balance trade-offs. 
• Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal). 

The following skills/qualifications are advantageous:

• Experience maintaining or modernising applications. 
• Familiarity with React or other modern frontend frameworks. 
• Familiarity with Next.js. 
• Experience with front-end testing frameworks and tooling. 
• Knowledge of event-driven or serverless architectures. 
• Experience with containerisation (Docker) and infrastructure as code. 
• Cloud certification in Azure.
