Job Description

Take the lead on complex automobile accident claims where your expertise truly matters. In this role, you’ll investigate and confirm the facts of loss for high‑complexity auto claims, applying critical thinking and sound judgment to determine coverage, liability, and damages.

You’ll own the claims process from investigation through resolution—adjusting and negotiating settlements within your authority while delivering fair, accurate, and timely outcomes for all parties involved. Beyond handling challenging claims, you’ll serve as a trusted mentor, supporting and sharing knowledge, guidance, and best practices.

National General Insurance is currently hiring an experienced Attorney-Represented Casualty Adjuster. The ideal candidate will be working remotely based in one of the following states: Georgia or Florida and possess experience in handling complex claims.

This role is ideal for an experienced adjuster who enjoys solving complex problems, making informed decisions, and elevating both customer outcomes and team performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Determines subrogation or fraud potential and how to handle for complex cases

• Applies advanced understanding of insurance policies written by the company, the industry, and organizational relationships within the company and department

• Handles investigation regarding all aspects of complex auto claims (coverage, liability and damages) with the exercise discretion and independence within increased level of authority

• For claims involving injuries (if handled), learns how to review, evaluate, and negotiate moderate to complex injury claims

• Recognizes and identifies body parts of a vehicle and understanding other potential property damage

• Identifies customer needs and works to meet those needs using appropriate customer service skills

Compensation

Pay Transparency:

Base compensation offered for this role is:

Auto Analyst III: $50,000 - $65,300

Auto Consultant I: $50,000 - $74,120

Auto Cons II: $56,000 - $82,500

Auto Sr Cons I: $68,500 - $104,100

And is based on experience and qualifications. Total compensation for this role is comprised of several factors, including the base compensation outlined above, plus incentive pay (i.e. commission, bonus, etc.) if applicable for the role.
