Responsibilities

Provide IP Facility coding for Level I trauma hospital cases, ensuring accuracy in ICD-10-CM/PCS and CPT coding.
Maintain compliance with AHIMA/AAPC guidelines and internal QA processes to ensure coding accuracy and appropriate reimbursements.
Collaborate with hospital teams and internal staff to ensure timely submission of coded records while working remotely as a direct employee.
Stay up-to-date with coding certifications and continuing education; maintain current AHIMA/AAPC credentials as required.
