Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain financial models and dashboards that allow for dynamic views at varying levels of detail.
- Lead process and data discovery, requirements gathering, and outcome review sessions with external clients and stakeholders.
- Complete impact assessments of any developed or modified financial models or dashboards.
- Develop SOPs and user training for developed financial models or dashboards.
- Complete financial analysis tasks to support strategic decisions.
- Work closely with stakeholders to create plans of attack focused on increasing operational efficiencies and decreasing financial waste.
- Complete Ad Hoc projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of experience in finance, accounting, and/or project control in the federal government contracts space.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
- Knowledge of and experience with indirect rate creation, budget modeling, forecasting, and dashboard reporting.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and PowerBI.
- FinOps Certified Practitioner or higher certification is a plus.
- Experience with Apptio is preferred.
- Must be able to pass a Tier 4/High Risk Position Sensitivity and Background Investigation.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate across matrixed organizations.
- Strong financial analysis knowledge and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related scientific or technical discipline and 10+ years’ work experience.
- Eight (8) years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education (18 years total).
Clearance:
- The ability to pass a Tier 2/Moderate Background Investigation.
Remote:
- Remote, USA
- Monday - Friday (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM CST)
Salary Information:
- The pay for this position ranges from $80,000 to $105,000.
- The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
- Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as bonuses.
