Job description

Marketing Coordinator

Location: Remote (Must work CST hours)
Engagement: Full-Time | Contractor

About the Role

Our client is hiring a process-driven Marketing Coordinator to strengthen marketing infrastructure and execution.

This is an execution-heavy role. You will manage data integrity, build and audit prospect lists, support campaign infrastructure, and ensure marketing systems run clean and efficiently.

You’ll work directly with the VP of Marketing. The goal is simple: tighter systems, better visibility, smoother execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain CRM hygiene and ensure data accuracy in Salesforce
  • Manage marketing database structure and segmentation readiness
  • Build and audit prospect lists using ZoomInfo or similar tools
  • Execute compliant mass email campaigns
  • Create and maintain competitor tracking databases
  • Conduct website audits and support SEO-driven content updates
  • Build campaign tracking frameworks and reporting visibility
  • Document marketing processes and standardize workflows
  • Support light content execution (email drafts, publishing support, templates in Canva)

Must Have

  • Hands-on Salesforce experience (data management, segmentation, reporting)
  • Experience with Pardot, Account Engagement, HubSpot, or similar automation tools
  • Experience using ZoomInfo or comparable prospecting databases
  • Strong proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel
  • Experience maintaining CRM hygiene and marketing databases
  • Ability to follow and document standardized processes

Nice to Haves

  • Experience supporting US-based companies
  • Basic SEO knowledge
  • Website CMS experience
  • Experience drafting marketing emails or supporting content publishing
  • Canva or light creative execution exposure

30-60-90 Day Success Plan

30 Days:
You understand the infrastructure, have improved data cleanliness, and can execute routine marketing tasks with minimal oversight.

60 Days:
You’re not just maintaining systems — you’re improving them and beginning to own day-to-day execution.

90 Days:
Marketing operations feel organized, predictable, and efficient. You anticipate needs, own execution, and actively contribute to improving how the team operates.

6-Month Vision

Six months in, you’ve become the operational backbone of marketing — our systems are clean, campaigns run smoothly, and leadership has clear visibility into performance without needing to ask.

Beyond maintaining strong infrastructure, you’ve begun taking ownership of day-to-day content execution — drafting emails, supporting article publishing, and helping move ideas from concept to launch — while proactively improving workflows and making the entire team more efficient.
