Vista (Viewpoint) ERP Technical Consultant – Oracle Fusion Transition

Preference for Central or Eastern Time Zones (daily 8:30am CT stand-ups). Mountain Time considered; Pacific Time less ideal.

Role Overview

Seeking a highly experienced Vista (Viewpoint) ERP Technical Consultant to support its MES business unit during a major ERP transition from Vista (Viewpoint) to Oracle Fusion. MES is the largest business unit within segment, generating approximately $1.2B in annual revenue, making this a high-visibility, mission-critical engagement.

This role will focus on deep technical support of the Vista ERP system, including data extraction, data mapping, conversions, and interface development, while ensuring ongoing system stability throughout the transition period. The consultant will work closely with leadership, internal teams, and multiple external consulting partners.

Key Responsibilities

Provide hands-on technical support for the Vista (Viewpoint) ERP system during the Oracle Fusion transition
Perform data extraction, mapping, validation, and conversion from Vista to Oracle Fusion
Develop and maintain interfaces and integrations to keep Vista data synchronized
Support and maintain existing Vista environments, including customizations and extensions
Work across multiple Vista modules, including:
procurement and Job Cost/Service Management are primary modules needed
- Purchasing
- Job Cost
- Service Management
- Fixed Assets (as applicable)
Participate in daily stand-ups, technical discussions, and working sessions
Gather requirements and clearly articulate technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Collaborate with internal teams and external consulting partners
Manage a high volume of tasks and deliverables in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

Required Qualifications

Deep, hands-on technical expertise in Vista (Viewpoint) ERP (genuine, production-level experience required)
Strong experience working across multiple Vista modules (financial and operational)
Advanced SQL skills for reporting, data extraction, transformation, and validation
Proven experience with:
- ERP data migrations
- Interface development
- Supporting ERP systems during large-scale transitions
Ability to understand, troubleshoot, and enhance custom Vista configurations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and deliver under tight timelines

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience with Vista to Oracle Fusion ERP transitions
Construction or infrastructure industry ERP experience
Ability to act as a Vista generalist, or strong specialization in:
- GL / Fixed Assets or
- Job Cost / Service Management
