Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Solution Architect – Finance with deep expertise in core Finance & Controlling processes, Document & Reporting Compliance (DRC) and global Tax requirements.
The role focuses on shaping and optimizing global Finance processes, ensuring compliance with international reporting requirements, and enabling scalable end‑to‑end Financial Operations across the enterprise.
The ideal candidate brings strong functional expertise, architectural thinking, and the ability to collaborate effectively with Finance, Tax, and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
Finance Architecture & Solution Design
Design and maintain the global SAP Finance process architecture covering GL, AP, AR, AA, Cash & Bank, Period-End Closing, and Consolidation interfaces.
Ensure process consistency and standardization across entities in coordination with Global Process Owners (GPOs).
Translate business requirements into robust, scalable S/4HANA Finance solutions.
Provide expert support for S/4HANA FI process
DRC, e‑Invoicing & Global Tax Compliance
Lead and manage continuous improvement and change requests related to DRC and Tax compliance.
Implement and support global e‑Invoicing and reporting integrations with tax authorities (e.g., Italy SDI, India IRN, Portugal SAF‑T, Korea e‑Tax, China Golden Tax, France e‑Invoicing).
Integrate S/4HANA Finance with 3rd‑party tax engines (e.g., SOVOS, Baiwang).
Business Partnering & Change Enablement
Act as the primary liaison between Finance, Tax, and IT delivery teams.
Facilitate workshops, conduct training, and support key users through change initiatives.
Drive harmonization, simplification, and automation of Finance processes.
Operational Excellence
Manage incident resolution, root-cause analysis, and proactive system improvements.
Develop documentation, configuration guides, and functional specifications.
Support data migration activities (LSMW, MASS, BAPIs) where required.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
5+ years of hands-on SAP S/4HANA experience with strong expertise in Finance & Controlling (FI/CO).
Proven experience in DRC, e‑Invoicing, and global tax reporting integration.
Successful participation in 2+ full-cycle S/4HANA projects, preferably in multinational environments.
Strong understanding of RTR, PTP, OTC Finance integration points.
Deep knowledge of Finance compliance frameworks, statutory reporting, and tax processes.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with multi-entity, multi-country financial processes.
Knowledge of IFRS and/or local GAAP requirements.
Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience working with GPO frameworks or global template rollouts.
