  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral), able to interact with Hospital and Physician Enterprise executives and team members, including physicians.
  • Ability to work with large datasets and compile them into a summarized form for analysis.
  • Computer expertise in MS Office programs, specifically Outlook and Excel.
  • Ability to grasp new concepts quickly and work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

  • Prepares and analyzes consolidated financial reports for physician practices, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
  • Develops and maintains financial reporting systems to streamline data collection and analysis.
  • Analyzes actual operating results and identifies key financial and operational issues, comparing to budgets and forecasts and addressing discrepancies and adverse trends.
  • Participates in the budgeting and forecasting process, providing insights and recommendations.

Job Description:

  • Prepares and analyzes consolidated financial reports for physician practices, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
  • Develops and maintains financial reporting systems to streamline data collection and analysis.
  • Analyzes actual operating results and identifies key financial and operational issues.
  • Compares actual results to budgets and forecasts, addressing discrepancies and adverse trends.
  • Prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
  • Monitors financial performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Assists with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Reviews and reconciles financial data from multiple sources to ensure consistency.
  • Provides detailed financial analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Participates in the budgeting and forecasting process, providing insights and recommendations.
  • Develops and presents financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Collaborates with finance and operations teams to gather necessary data and insights.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Complete assignments in a timely and accurate manner. [Required]

• Experience with Peoplesoft ERP or similar accounting software system [Preferred]
• Knowledge of and experience with Excel, including VLOOKUPS, Pivots and manipulation of large data sets [Preferred]

Education:
• Bachelor's [Required]
• Master's [Preferred]

Field of Study:
• in Accounting or Finance from an accredited institution of higher education.
• MBA

Work Experience:
• 1+ of exposure to physician enterprise, hospital or other healthcare finances [Preferred]
• Prior experience as an accountant with a strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principals [Preferred]
