Overview:

Join the Kemin Industries team as a Global ERP Technical Specialist, where you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of our M3 ecosystem. In this position, you’ll design forward‑thinking solutions, lead complex technical and functional initiatives, and drive global ERP projects from initial concept through successful rollout. You’ll help define our technical strategy, architect systems, and ensure our technology roadmap aligns with evolving business needs.

 

You’ll also be a trusted expert across the organization. Mentoring team members, reviewing and approving code, guiding consultants, and championing best practices. With deep expertise across multiple M3 domains, you’ll independently deliver high‑impact projects, enhance system performance, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our global ERP landscape. The ideal candidate will work on-site at Kemin’s World Wide Headquarters in Des Moines, IA. Remote or off‑site arrangements may be considered for exceptionally qualified candidates

Responsibilities:
  • Act as lead on multiple technologies, consult, manage and direct work
  • Develop the solution for the most complex business models and processes
  • Approve new technologies and new applications of existing technologies
  • Approve technical documentation, processes and procedures
  • Collaborate with M3 Business Analysts to keep stakeholders and customers informed,
    determine testing and solution success, and identify the relevant technology solution
  • Review change control policies and procedures
  • Approve system changes
  • Approve Code
  • Approve invoices
  • Strategic guidance on improvements in ERP cost of ownership
  • Proactively identify value add ways to utilize technologies and improve technical processes
  • Designs global technical project plans, road maps and technical documentation standards
  • Creates M3 environments and understands the installation, configuration and settings of
    the technical functionality
  • Functional support areas of M3
  • Assist with testing and documentation for WWIT systems as needed
  • Assist business units further as directed
Qualifications:
  • Education
    • Bachelor’s Degree combined with 15+ years of experience in M3 or Associates Degree combined with 17+ years of experience in M3
  • M3 Knowledge & experience – expert in at least 9 areas, intermediate in at least 5 others
  • Proven writing skills creating technical documentation and processes
  • Understanding of Kemin’s change management process
  • Advanced SQL knowledge and experience
  • AS400 Knowledge & experience
  • Windows server knowledge and experience
  • Outstanding communication skills – oral and written
  • A servant leadership attitude with the ability to proactively direct, manage and negotiate
  • Knowledge and experience with Automated Testing systems
  • Understands Business Analysis, Project Management & Business Processes
