QA Automation Engineer

Role: QA Automation Engineer
Position Type: Full-Time Contract (40hrs/week)
Contract Duration: 12-months+
Work Schedule: 8 hours/day (Mon-Fri)
Location: 100% Remote (Candidates can work from anywhere in India)

Duties/Day to Day Overview

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Debug software products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for Salesforce CRM using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Provar, TestNG, or similar frameworks
• Perform end-to-end testing of Salesforce custom objects, Apex classes, triggers, Lightning components, Flows, and integrations with external systems.
• Develop automation roadmap and help initiate the right framework and maintain existing automation suite.
• Maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software.
• Empower the project test teams to do their own automation with the help of right tools and strategies.
• Flexibility and ability to work collaboratively within matrices, 'virtual' and flat environments.
• Proficiency in automation frameworks and languages such as Selenium WebDriver, Java, Apex testing, TestNG, JUnit, or JavaScript-based tools.
• Experience testing data-heavy environments with SOQL queries and validation.

Top Requirements

Qualifications &Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience developing test automation framework, tools and processes for complex interdependent programs/projects.
• Experience with Cucumber\JBehave, BDD, TestNG testing frameworks.
• Basic knowledge of programming languages (Java, JavaScript).
• Proficiency using SoapUI, Postman or similar test harnesses for RESTful web service testing.
• Familiarity with test engineering tools such as JUnit, Selenium Webdriver, Playwright, Enterprise Test automation framework, Unix Shell scripting, Jmeter, JIRA, GIT, and SQL.
• Experience testing platform integrations with Salesforce CRM, AppsFlyer, Customer Data Platform (CDP), Presado or other Marketing tool stack is preferred
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment methodologies.
• Excellent oral and written skills with the ability to interact with senior management, technical subject matter experts, and business customers are all essential in this role.
• Effective time management skills: ability to prioritize, delegate and meet deadlines.

Must Have:

• Java - or Rest Assure - they use that on their Backend
• Selenium and API - used on frontend

Additional Qualifications

• \Salesforce CRM experience, it is only preferred, not mandatory.
