Our Fortune 100 pharmaceutical client is undertaking a major commercial transformation initiative focused on
salesforce realignment across the U.S. organization. This program will require strong program leadership to coordinate multiple workstreams, ensure strategic alignment, and drive execution across a complex stakeholder landscape.
What You Will Do
We are seeking a
Senior Project Manager to support a large-scale
salesforce realignment program for a leading pharmaceutical organization. In this role, you will act as a
strategic partner to the Chief of Staff, helping orchestrate program execution across multiple workstreams and ensuring the integrated plan reflects the broader commercial strategy.
This role will require someone who can
look across multiple project plans to identify risks, dependencies, and gaps, while maintaining a clear, integrated roadmap for the overall initiative. You will collaborate closely with workstream leads, senior stakeholders, and program leadership to ensure alignment and successful delivery.
This is a
U.S.-based remote consulting engagement through the end of June, with the possibility of extension.
Job Responsibilities
- Partner closely with the Chief of Staff and program leadership to coordinate and manage a large-scale pharmaceutical salesforce realignment program.
- Develop and maintain an integrated program plan and roadmap across multiple workstreams.
- Collaborate with workstream leads to ensure project plans align with the overarching program strategy and timeline.
- Analyze individual workstream plans to identify interdependencies, gaps, risks, and sequencing issues.
- Proactively surface risks, dependencies, and potential conflicts across initiatives and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Facilitate cross-functional coordination across commercial, operations, analytics, and leadership teams.
- Support program governance including status reporting, executive updates, and milestone tracking.
- Ensure program deliverables remain aligned with the broader commercial strategy and salesforce deployment objectives.
- Drive accountability across workstreams to ensure milestones and deliverables are achieved on schedule.
- Utilize standard program management tools and methodologies to maintain transparency and effective communication across the program.
Qualifications
- Proven experience serving as a Senior Project Manager or Program Manager on pharmaceutical salesforce sizing, targeting, or realignment programs.
- Demonstrated success managing large, complex cross-functional programs within the life sciences or pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience working closely with executive leadership, chiefs of staff, or transformation offices on strategic initiatives.
- Strong ability to synthesize multiple project plans into a cohesive integrated program roadmap.
- Expertise identifying interdependencies, risks, and gaps across multi-workstream programs.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills and ability to influence across functions.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience with standard project management tools and methodologies (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or similar platforms).
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
