Product Business Analyst (Software / SaaS) | Remote

About PeoplePartners
  • At PeoplePartners, we’re all about building careers that actually go somewhere. As a Great Place to Work certified company, we’ve created a people-first culture where growth isn’t just encouraged — it’s expected.
  • Work with global clients, gain real international exposure, and be part of a team that values collaboration, ownership, and continuous learning. We keep things human, dynamic, and forward-thinking — because great work happens when people feel supported and inspired.
  • If you’re looking for a place where your ideas matter and your career accelerates, you’ll feel right at home here.
Role Overview
  • This isn’t your typical “write-the-requirements-and-move-on” BA role.
  • As a Product Business Analyst (Software / SaaS), you’ll be the translator between vision and execution — shaping how ideas become real, usable products. You don’t just capture requirements; you define how things should work, anticipate what could go wrong, and bring structure to complexity.
  • If you enjoy turning ambiguity into clarity and helping teams build smarter, faster, and better — this is your kind of role.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Translate product initiatives into structured requirements.
  • Define workflows, system behaviors, and business rules.
  • Write user stories, acceptance criteria, and product specifications.
  • Collaborate with developers and QA during delivery.
  • Identify edge cases, dependencies, and system interactions.
  • Support backlog refinement and sprint planning.
  • Ensure alignment between product requirements and delivered features.

Requirements

Required Qualifications (Must-Have):
  • 5+ years experience as a Software Business Analyst or Product Business Analyst.
  • Experience with SaaS or web-based platforms.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, Lucid-chart, or similar tools.
  • Proven ability to write clear, structured requirements and documentation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Nice-to-Have:
  • Experience working in cross-functional product teams.
  • Exposure to end-to-end product lifecycle delivery.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience improving documentation standards or BA practices.
  • Ability to identify risks, gaps, and process improvements proactively.
  • Experience working with distributed or remote teams.
