Job Description:

We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer with 3+ years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members in an Agile environment to identify defects, implement test automation strategies, and continuously improve testing processes. Strong programming skills, knowledge of automation frameworks, and a focus on delivering high-quality software are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
Execute automated and manual tests to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability.
Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA or Trello.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality deliverables throughout the software development lifecycle.
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.
Continuously improve test processes, automation coverage, and efficiency.
Support regression testing, integration testing, and system testing efforts.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience in QA automation or software testing.
Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments.

Technical Skills:

Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar).
Experience with test frameworks (e.g., TestNG, JUnit, Pytest).
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
Knowledge of API testing (Postman, RestAssured) is a plus.
Understanding of version control systems (Git).

Soft Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and quality focus.
Excellent communication skills for collaborating with developers, product managers, and QA team members.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
