Roles & Responsibilities

4-6 years experience in Rest API / microservices / Kafka development, understanding architecture and testing
Experience building Monitoring and Alerting strategies for applications and infrastructure
Ability to define and refine processes and procedures for the SRE practice
Strong knowledge of applying SRE principles to measure and optimize system performance

Job description

Role: Site Reliability Engineer
Location: Remote
6 months Contract
Salary: DOE $/hr. on w2/C2C

US Citizen and Green Card H4-EAD GC-EAD H1B

Developers with SRE Background
·       Experience in Rest API/micro services/Kafka development, understanding architecture and testing (4-6 years)
·       Build Monitoring and Alerting Strategy required for Applications and Infrastructure.
·       Define and refine processes/procedures for the SRE practice.
·       Measure and optimize system performance applying SRE Principles.
·       Instrument Application, metrics and build visualizations.
·       Create Topology Diagrams for Application/Infrastructure monitoring
·       Expertise in Logging frameworks (SLF4J, Log 4J etc)
Tools: Kibana,Grafana, ELK, Dockers, Scripting, Java, Javascript, testing tools, monitoring tools like Appdynamics, Prometheus and Splunk, etc
