Database Administrator 100% Remote Position Type: Full time Salary plus benefits
Role Experience needed
The position will be responsible for ongoing administration of existing environments including defining, planning, implementing and supporting BNSF's physical zOS DB2 databases.
Candidate should possess extensive knowledge of all aspects of zOS DB2 including monitoring and performance tuning.
Expertise in mainframe utilities is a must.
Tools such as BMC's Database Administration utilities, IBM's Database Administration & zOS utilities.
Candidate is a team player willing to be coached on BNSF's very specific zOS DB2 processes and procedures. Must be able to explain technical issues to non-technical (management) individuals.
