Several years of development experience, ideally in Java
Infrastructure automation experience using Terraform and Ansible
Hands-on with AWS native services: EKS, CDK, Lambda, API Gateway, Elastic Beanstalk, Device Farm and related security components (Cognito, Secrets Manager, IAM, WAF, VPC)
DevSecOps and CI/CD experience with GitLab, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins and automation pipelines

Requirements:

Design, architect, and implement next-generation system architecture and automation solutions
Implement, maintain, and improve Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery environments
Hands-on work: POCs, developing key architecture frameworks, and troubleshooting failures across Terraform, Kubernetes, and cloud environments
Collaborate with customers and vendors; communicate effectively to translate requirements into technical solutions

Senior AWS Development Architect
Location remote EST
Duration 6 months +

MUST HAVE SKILLS

Infrastructure Automation: Terraform, Ansible
AWS Cloud Native Stack: AWS EKS, AWS CDK, AWS Kubernetes, AWS Lambda, AWS API Gateway, AWS Elastic Beanstalk, AWS Device Farm
DevSecOps: Gitlab, Kubernetes, K8, Docker, Jenkins, build pipelines
Logging: AWS CloudWatch, Splunk, etc.
Security and Scaling: AWS Cognito, AWS Secrets Manager, AWS WAF, AWS IAM, AWS VPC, other authentication, AWS Load Balancer

ROLE:

Must have several years of development experience, ideally in Java.
Must be development minded from pre-Cloud days
8y+ experience, depends on seniority/experience
Prior experience with large cloud migrations.
Strong skills and focus on DevOps and Cloud Automation.
Must be hands-on (POCs, develop key architecture frameworks etc.).
Strong ability to troubleshoot and correct failures withTerraform, clouds and Kubernetes as well as debugTerraformcode
Strong Linux and Windows experience
Awareness of Linux/Windows/Networking and how it works to integrate within the cloud environment.
Design, architect, and implement next generation system architecture and automation solutions
Implement, maintain, and improve Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery environments
Strong knowledge of scripting languages such as Python / Ruby
Good communication will be working directly with customer and vendor.
