Detailed Job Description
Technical skills:
• Ability to build responsive and accessible web pages – HTML and CSS • Ability to write modular, scalable and DRY HTML and CSS code. • Ability to work with front-end website frameworks – Bootstrap and similar • Ability to work with image authoring tools – Sketch & Photoshop • Ability to write client-side interactions – JQuery and Javascript
Preferred qualifications:
• Formal design training. BA/BFA (or equivalent experience). • Ability to juggle multiple projects and timelines. • Familiarity with the opportunities and limitations of web typography. • Familiarity with vector graphics and iconography. • Familiarity with code versioning tool – Visual Studio • Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks. • Knowledge around good UX practices • Bonus qualifications: • Experience with XCode / Android Studio • Experience with CSS Preprocessors – SASS or LESS • Experience with Javascript MVC Frameworks – Angular, React or Vue
