Title: Sr. Workday Analyst- Performance Management/ Core HCM
Location : Remote

We are seeking a Senior Workday Analyst with deep expertise in Performance Management and Core HCM to lead the functional delivery of mid-cycle promotion workflows and performance management enhancements. This role will serve as a key bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring solutions are scalable, efficient, and aligned to organizational goals.

The ideal candidate brings strong functional leadership, the ability to translate complex business needs into effective Workday solutions, and experience guiding configuration and customization decisions, including Workday Extend. This individual will play a critical role in driving testing, UAT, and successful deployment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with HR leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to understand performance management and mid-cycle promotion workflows

  • Gather, document, and prioritize business and functional requirements for workflow enhancements and process improvements

  • Translate requirements into functional designs and provide Workday configuration and customization guidance

  • Lead requirements workshops, design sessions, and solution walkthroughs with business and technical teams

  • Provide input into solution design decisions, including workflow automation and Workday Extend use cases

  • Develop and execute test strategies, including test planning, coordination, and defect tracking

  • Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure business readiness and successful adoption

  • Document solution designs, configuration decisions, and end-user training materials

  • Advise on best practices related to performance management, promotions, and process optimization

  • Support post-deployment activities, including issue resolution and continuous improvement efforts


Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on Workday experience with a focus on Performance Management and Core HCM

  • Strong expertise in performance review cycles, promotion workflows, and mid-cycle advancement processes

  • Proven ability to gather and translate complex business requirements into functional solutions

  • Experience guiding Workday configuration and supporting end-to-end delivery, including Extend-enabled solutions

  • Solid understanding of approval workflows, compensation processes, and HR data governance

  • Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and facilitation skills

  • Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment


Preferred Qualifications

  • Workday Performance Management certification

  • Experience with workflow automation, custom approvals, and Workday Extend applications

  • Background in business process design and optimization

  • Experience leading UAT and supporting end-user training initiatives

  • Prior experience supporting promotion or performance workflows in complex or regulated environments
