Project Overview:
The client (eHealth) is currently looking for Solutions Architect Resource to provide architectural oversight and leadership across multiple clinical services initiatives and the Solutions Architecture Team. The Successful Supplier will play a key role in shaping technology strategy, aligning projects to roadmaps, and ensuring the successful delivery of critical, clinical systems, for the Diagnostic and Drug Services department, within Clinical Services.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Design scalable, secure, and cost-effective architectural solutions.
· Collaborate with existing teams to enhance architectural maturity.
· Develop and provide best practices, standards, and methods to optimize architecture processes.
· Assist in the operations of the Architecture Review Board.
· Present solutions to the Architecture Review Board.
· Define architecture templates and standards.
· Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the implementation lifecycle.
· Provide project support to manage the implementation of various clinical services solutions.
· Ensure integration with existing systems and alignment with business goals.
· Prepare technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and solution blueprints.
· Support risk management and compliance requirements.
· Participate in vendor evaluations and technology selection.
Mandatory Requirements:
· Have a minimum of four (4) years proven experience working as a Solutions Architect, supporting Clinical IT projects with a focus on Labs, Medical Imaging, and Pharmacy.
· Possess either:
1. a master’s degree in Computational Physics and Mathematics, Systems Science, Information Technology, Engineering or Computer Science; or
2. a bachelor’s degree in a related Solutions Architecture or Information Technology field, along with three (3) additional years experience (in addition to the required four (4) years) working as a Solutions Architect.

· Creating architecture roadmaps, blueprints, and Architecture Decision Records (ADRs).
· Aligning technology initiatives with long-term business goals and transformation strategies.
· Business models, financial drivers, and how IT can create competitive advantage.
· Networking, storage, cloud platforms, virtualization, and security architecture and how they all connect.
· Creating architecture designs for Clinical Services related projects.
· Collaborating and managing senior-level executives, business leaders, and technical teams.
· Evaluating trade-offs and making architecture decisions under uncertainty.
Extensive experience with:
· Leading or contributing to large infrastructure projects or solution deployments.
· Physical and virtual server architectures, Data Domain, Isilon, storage backups, and high availability configurations.
· Greenfield, virtual machine provisioning, resource allocation, and performance tuning.
· Critical, constructive and creative problem-solving skills that involve issue identification, development of objectives, development of an action plan overseeing what needs to be done, while identifying the resources required to ensure quality products.
· Information management, logic modeling, conceptual, business process, and workflow design.
· Requirements gathering, analysis, plan, design, develop, implement and maintain Data Management systems.
