Job Specific Working Conditions:
Upper Kittitas County Young Life is seeking a staff person to lead and grow ministry in a community with one 2B high school and one middle school, and a strong sense of connection among students, families and local leaders. Young Life has a deep history in Upper Kittitas County, and the ministry was faithfully restarted four years ago. Since then, it has regained momentum through committed volunteer leaders, growing relationships with students and meaningful support from the community.
Located in the mountain towns of Cle Elum and Roslyn, this area is experiencing steady growth while still maintaining the close-knit culture that makes relational ministry especially impactful. With a solid foundation already in place and a community that believes in the mission of Young Life, this is an exciting opportunity for a leader to build on existing momentum and help shape the future of ministry for teenagers in Upper Kittitas County.
The anticipated hourly/salary can range from $18,000-$26,988, depending on relevant education, experience, and location. This position is eligible for a Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA) depending on the zip code that the candidate is living in.
Raise financial support as directed and maintain good donor care practices.
Communicate ministry updates and progress to personal donor partners.
Actively engage in all three levels of contact work.
Lead a team to plan and implement a regular outreach meeting with excellence.
Adhere to all Young Life policies and procedures and maintain professionalism concerning office hours, dress, conduct and time management.
Manage finances with stewardship, accountability and transparency using the mission-wide applications.
