Who We're Looking For

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Chargeback Analyst who can investigate disputes, synthesize evidence across multiple systems, and build clear, compelling representment cases.

This role is responsible for reviewing chargeback cases end-to-end, identifying fraud patterns, and maximizing revenue recovery for merchants. The ideal candidate has strong critical thinking skills, excellent written communication, and the ability to work with structured data and customer interactions.

Your Arena

As a Chargeback Analyst, you will manage the full lifecycle of chargeback disputes.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Review and manage chargeback cases, ensuring timely and accurate submissions aligned with reason codes
  • Investigate transactions using multiple data sources and compile compelling evidence for representments
  • Prepare clear rebuttal letters and submit disputes via PSPs and internal tools
  • Track case status, maintain accurate documentation, and generate reports on outcomes and trends
  • Analyze chargeback patterns to identify fraud, root causes, and areas for prevention
  • Collaborate with internal teams and support clients in resolving disputes and gathering evidence
  • Recommend process improvements to reduce future chargebacks and improve win rates
  • Ensure compliance with card network rules, internal policies, and data confidentiality standards


What It Takes

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Communications, or a related field preferred.

Experience

Experience in chargebacks, payments, fraud analysis, customer support, or operations preferred

Experience working with dispute platforms or payment processors is a plus

Skills

Strong analytical and investigative mindset

Excellent written English and ability to create structured, professional documentation

Ability to interpret and apply policies to real scenarios

High attention to detail and accuracy under deadlines

Ability to work across multiple tools and synthesize information quickly


Nice to Have

Familiarity with payment processors such as Stripe, Adyen, or PayPal

Understanding of card network rules and reason codes

Experience in eCommerce, fintech, or fraud prevention

Exposure to CRM tools and customer support workflows
