Objectives – The Problems You’ll Solve
Reporting to the VP of IT Operations & Information Security, this position is responsible for the oversight of our infrastructure build, our release/deployment process, and the operational aspects of the system. This role is also involved in designing and implementing our next generation infrastructure, which will include containerization and orchestration in a cloud environment.

In your first month, onboard, get up to speed, and understand both the Continuous Infrastructure and CI/CD
In your first 3 months, take control of your immediate team and ensure reliable delivery of committed items.
In your first 6 months, improve your team’s throughput and take ownership of release pipeline
Competencies – what we’re looking for
Proficiency in: source code repositories and management strategies. Scripting proficiency in Python, Perl, PowerShell, etc. Demonstrated knowledge of Linux, Nginx, Shell/Bach, JavaScript.
Proficient in Git workflows for large teams: branching, rebasing, CI/CD integration
Experience with engineering concepts: environment specific configs, feature flagging, integrating automated tests, etc.
Skilled at: supporting cloud infrastructure or similar
Passionate about sharing knowledge: You excel at teaching others and share your expertise to build a collaborative and engaged culture.
Customer-focused: You are driven to improve Continuous’ DevOps environment and promote an innovative and seamless infrastructure build and release/deploy process that leads to the customer experience being best-in-class.
Interpersonal and communication skills: We want to be a team you enjoy being a collaborator in, a team you enjoy spending time with, and someone we want to invest in. You are motivated when working with a diverse team and being able to collaborate on continuous improvement. You use your verbal and written communication skills to be clear and transparent to both technical and non-technical peers.
Intellectually curious: You have a strong level of curiosity and care about learning and self-improvement. You are willing to try out new technologies and continuously improve your own skillsets and understanding.
Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: You diagnose issues with complex CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and deployment process, identifying root causes quickly and accurately. You apply critical thinking to design scalable, secure, and maintainable infrastructure solutions. You anticipate bottlenecks or integration challenges and develop proactive strategies to mitigate them.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements
This is a remote position performed primarily in a home office setting. The role is sedentary and involves prolonged use of a computer and digital collaboration tools.
