Job description

We operate in the software and QA solutions space, providing technical expertise and engineering support for data-driven environments
We are seeking highly experienced Data Engineers with deep, hands-on expertise in Snowflake. The candidates will be responsible for:
- Designing, building, and configuring Snowflake environments from scratch, not limited to basic usage.
- Integrating Snowflake with existing client infrastructure and ensuring seamless connectivity across systems.
- Designing and implementing scalable data pipelines and managing end-to-end data flow processes.
- Working with structured and semi-structured data formats and ensuring efficient ingestion and transformation.
- Developing and maintaining robust data processing solutions, including file-based ingestion and API integrations.
- Going beyond standard dbt usage by leveraging full Snowflake capabilities as a platform, not just a processing engine.
- Collaborating with internal teams to align data engineering solutions with business and technical requirements.
- Ensuring high performance, reliability, and scalability of data platforms.

Must-haves:
- Strong expertise in SQL, including advanced techniques such as window functions, recursive queries, dynamic SQL, stored procedures, and cursors.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Snowflake, including environment setup, configuration, and optimization.
- Experience with ETL processes and tools such as Azure Data Factory or similar solutions.
- Proven ability to design and build scalable and efficient data pipelines.
- Experience working with semi-structured data and file processing formats such as JSON, CSV, XLSX, and Parquet.
- Experience integrating systems via REST APIs and handling authentication mechanisms such as OAuth.

Nice-to-haves:
- Experience with other cloud data warehouse solutions.
- Knowledge of C# development.
- Experience with data layering concepts and architecture.
- Familiarity with dbt and modern data stack practices.
