Requirements:

Define and own Integration Test Strategy, scope, entry/exit criteria, and governance for OIC programs; lead SIT/E2E/Regression/UAT testing with traceability to requirements and design artifacts; establish best practices for test data, environments, and release validation.
Execute OIC integration testing: validate components (Orchestrations, Integrations, Connections, Adapters); test API integrations (REST/SOAP), data transformations (XSLT/Mapper), scheduling, error handling, retries, and idempotency; ensure functional, negative, and boundary testing; coordinate with Integration/Dev teams for fault policies, logging, monitoring, and reprocessing.
Design documentation: create/review test plans, test cases, scenarios, and end-to-end business flows; build RTM mapping requirements → interfaces → test_cases → results → defects; prepare test status reports, risk dashboards, and release readiness metrics.
Defect management and automation enablement: lead defect lifecycle (triage, severity/priority, root cause analysis, closure); ensure quality gates and evidence-based go/no-go; define automation approach for integration tests and align with CI/CD using tools (Postman, SoapUI/ReadyAPI, Jenkins/Azure DevOps/Git).

Job Description

Role Summary

We are looking for a seasoned Integration Testing Lead with 10+ years of QA/testing experience and strong expertise in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC). The role will lead end-to-end testing for enterprise integrations across OIC, Oracle SaaS (ERP/HCM/SCM), and third-party systems. This person will own the integration test strategy, define test governance, drive automation, manage defects triage, and ensure quality sign-off across multiple workstreams.

Key Responsibilities

Test Leadership & Strategy

Define and own Integration Test Strategy, scope, entry/exit criteria, and governance for OIC programs.

Lead testing across SIT / E2E / Regression / UAT Support, ensuring traceability to requirements and design artifacts.

Establish best practices for integration testing, including test data strategy, environment readiness, and release validation.

OIC Integration Testing Execution

Validate integrations built on OIC (Orchestrations, Integrations, Connections, Adapters) and related components.
Test API integrations (REST/SOAP), message transformations (XSLT/Mapper), scheduling, error handling, retries, and idempotency.
Ensure validation of functional, negative, and boundary scenarios across system interfaces.
Coordinate with Integration/Dev teams to test fault policies, logging, monitoring, and reprocessing.

Test Design & Documentation

Create/Review test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and end-to-end business flows involving multiple systems.
Build traceability matrix (RTM) mapping requirements → interfaces → test cases → results → defects.
Prepare and present test status reports, risk dashboards, and release readiness metrics.

Defect & Quality Management

Lead defect lifecycle: triage, severity/priority, root cause analysis, and closure governance.
Work closely with developers, architects, and functional teams to resolve integration and data issues quickly.
Drive adherence to quality gates and ensure go/no-go recommendations are evidence-based.

Test Automation & Tooling

Define approach for automation of integration tests, including regression suites.
Use API testing tools (e.g., Postman/SoapUI/ReadyAPI) and automate with frameworks where applicable.
Support CI/CD alignment (e.g., Jenkins/Azure DevOps/Git) and incorporate automated validations into pipelines.
