  • Scale and automate regulatory reporting (SFCR, RSR, ORSA) and contribute to regulatory narratives; support discussions with supervisors and communicate capital evolution to the board and investors
  • Oversee capital management and reinsurance strategy across operating countries, negotiate with reinsurers, analyze reinsurance reporting, and support team growth and hiring in Insurance & Risk

⭐️ Your role ⭐️ ️

As Alan’s Risk Expert, you will be in charge of providing Alan with automated and scalable risk assessment tools:

  • Risk modeling

    • You will be in charge of strengthening and automating the building our Solvency 2 balance sheet and capital requirements projections, covering both health, death and disability business lines

    • You will model new risks when they arise (new insurance products, branches, international, investment etc.)

    • You will challenge our risk appetite, propose new relevant risk metrics and build tools to monitor them

    • You will support the board meetings preparation and communication with investors regarding capital evolution and market risks

  • Regulatory

    • You will scale and automate the production of our regulatory quantitative reporting and contribute to our narrative (SFCR, RSR) and ORSA reports

    • You will support our discussions with supervisors

    • You will assist the assessment of international opportunities and help prepare the opening of new countries

  • Capital management

    • You will make proposals to improve our capital management in the 4 countries Alan is present

    • You will manage our reinsurance strategy, to find an optimum between solvency and profitability, negotiating with reinsurance partners, and analyze reinsurance reporting

  • Team Growth

    • You will create processes and resources to strengthen the team’s ability to understand our risk and capital constraints

    • You will support the identification and hiring of new talents for the Insurance and Risk teams.

You would thrive in this role if you:

  • Have a first experience of the Solvency 2 regulatory framework, especially for S2 accounting, with knowledge of Health, Life and Market risks as a bonus

  • Are fluent in English and in French for regulatory interactions

  • Possess excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, including data analysis capabilities

  • Can automate processes and build new tools, with programming skills being a plus

  • Bring rigor and reliability to reporting production while working independently in a fast-paced environment

  • Have strong communication skills for effective interaction with internal and external stakeholders

  • Are confident learning new tools, technologies, and methodologies with creative problem-solving approaches
