​​Looking for Philippines-based candidates

Job Role: Commercial Analyst

Compensation range: $1,500 AUD - $2,000 AUD / Monthly

Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement

Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

Who We Are: At Hunt St, we help Australian companies hire top remote talent in the Philippines. For this role, you will be engaged directly by the client as an independent contractor. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote so you'll be able to work from home.

Who The Client Is: Established in 2000, the company began by introducing a successful snack product to major Australian retailers. Since then, it has grown into a family-led business focused on sourcing, developing, and supplying high-quality snack products.

Role Overview: This role supports financial analysis and ensures the accuracy of systems across sales, purchasing, and manufacturing. It involves contributing to product costing, profitability insights, and sales documentation, while assisting with reporting, cross-functional finance support, and period-end processes to help inform business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product costing for all entities within the group
  • Profitability analysis with report back to Management
  • Creation of sales documents for major customers across the Asia Pacific region and backup for other International regions
  • Ensure accuracy of customer order reports and update sales pricing documents
  • Analysis of sales and purchasing data to assist management decision making processes
  • Support the purchasing, invoicing, payables and receivables departments as required
  • Assist with month end and year end tasks
  • Other tasks as required

Requirements

  • 3-5 years experience in a high volume accounts department
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
  • Experience with multi-currency ERP software
  • FMCG experience
  • Understanding of tariffs and duties
  • Team player with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Communicate clearly and respectfully in Interactions with all staff, suppliers and customers

This is a remote role that will be set up as an independent contractor engagement.
