WE ARE HIRING : Senior QA Engineer – Remote (Asia Pacific)

Location: Remote (Asia Pacific)
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior QA Engineer to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to design, execute, and optimize testing strategies, while driving automation and continuous improvement in quality assurance processes.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and test plans
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks
Perform manual testing for complex and high-priority features
Identify, document, and track software defects and ensure timely resolution
Collaborate with development, product, and design teams to ensure quality delivery
Continuously improve QA processes, tools, and methodologies
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and reviews
Conduct performance and load testing to ensure system stability
Mentor and guide junior QA team members

Candidate Profile

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum 5+ years of experience in QA testing, including at least 2 years in a senior role.

Skills & Competencies

Strong experience in test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress)
Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Java or Python
Solid understanding of manual testing methodologies
Experience working in Agile environments
Knowledge of performance and load testing tools
Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience with CI/CD pipelines
Knowledge of API testing tools (Postman or similar)
Exposure to security testing practices
Familiarity with DevOps tools (Jenkins, Kubernetes)
Experience in database testing (SQL / NoSQL)
