Role Summary:
Are you creative, tech-savvy, and
curious about how design and AI tools can transform marketing?
We’re looking for a Digital Marketing
& Design Specialist who loves creating visual content and experimenting
with modern tools. In this role, you’ll help bring ideas to life through
graphics, digital content, and automation tools that support marketing and
internal initiatives.

This role is primarily focused on
design and content creation, and works closely with internal teams across the
business.
In this role, you
will be responsible for:
1. Digital Content & Marketing
Support:
· Support marketing initiatives for SIMNET
and its sister companies by creating digital content and design assets.
· Assist with managing and updating
digital platforms, including:
o WordPress
websites
o Social
media channels
o Marketing
emails and landing pages
· Use AI tools and marketing software,
applying strong critical and creative thinking skills to generate ideas,
draft content, and streamline marketing workflows.
· Assist with SEO updates, website
content updates, and digital campaign execution.
2. Graphic Design & Creative Production:
· Create visually engaging assets for:
o Social
media
o Website
content
o Event
promotions
o Presentations
o Digital
ads and email campaigns
· Design marketing materials such as
brochures, graphics, posters, and infographics.
· Assist with short-form video content,
reels, and motion graphics where needed.
· Ensure brand consistency across all
marketing and communication materials.
3. AI, APIs & Marketing Tools:
· Use AI-powered tools to assist with
graphic design, content creation, and marketing workflows.
· Use APIs and automation tools to
connect marketing platforms and streamline processes such as:
o scheduling
campaigns
o automating
social media posts and email sends
o syncing
data between marketing systems
o maintaining
marketing calendars and scheduled content
· Help implement simple automated
workflows that allow campaigns and content to run automatically once scheduled.
· Work with tools such as CMS platforms,
social media schedulers, email marketing systems, and design platforms.
· Continuously explore new tools and
technologies that improve marketing efficiency and creative output.
4. Cross-Team Collaboration:
· Partner with internal departments to
support design needs for:
o sales
materials
o presentations
o internal
communications
o event
promotions
· Work closely with marketing leadership
to implement creative ideas and campaigns.
Other tasks and duties as required.
To be successful
in this role, you’ll need:
· Post-secondary education in marketing,
design, communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
(1 to 3 years). Recent graduates with co-op or internship experience and a
strong portfolio of creative work are encouraged to apply.
· Experience in graphic design tools
(Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) and familiarity with AI-powered design platforms.
· Strong understanding of digital
marketing principles, SEO, and social media best practices.
· A creative thinker who enjoys
designing and turning ideas into visually engaging content to drive engagement.
· Critical thinking skills is what
enables you to get meaningful, high-quality outputs from AI tools.
· Knowledge of marketing automation and
analytics tools.
· Agile mindset with willingness to
learn emerging AI tools and trends.
· Excellent communication and
collaboration skills.
