Requirements:

  • Manage the month-end close and consolidation process, including preparation and review of consolidation adjustments, intercompany eliminations, and preparation of financial statements and related analyses.
  • Maintain administration of the consolidation systems and coordinate with external auditors on consolidation-related requests, supporting audits and quarterly reviews.
  • Analyze consolidated financial results and prepare management reporting packages, variance analysis, and cross-functional collaboration with FPA, tax, legal, and treasury.
  • Support SEC and regulatory filings by preparing consolidated financial data, schedules, and supporting documentation, including parent company standalone financial statements.

We are looking for a Senior Manager of Consolidations & Reporting to join our Corporate Accounting team. This position is highly visible throughout the organization and will deal with a broad range of accounting topics. As a valuable resource to the organization, you must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong analytical, problem-solving, and research skills. You must also have the ability to coordinate and manage projects, be proactive and deadline-focused, as well as highly organized.

Essential Functions of the job:

  • Manage the month-end close and consolidation process, including preparation and review of consolidation adjustments such as profit-in-inventory adjustments, monitoring intercompany balancing, preparing equity rollforward, statement of cash flows, balance sheet, P&L, and related analytical reviews
  • Support the accounting for consolidation matters, including intercompany eliminations and foreign currency translation in accordance with US GAAP
  • Maintain administration of the consolidation systems
  • Coordinate with external auditors on consolidation-related requests and support the completion of the annual audit and quarterly review processes
  • Analyze consolidated financial results and prepare management reporting packages and support variance analysis
  • Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, tax, legal, and treasury to support consolidated reporting, technical accounting matters, and ad-hoc financial analyses
  • Support SEC and regulatory filings by preparing consolidated financial data, schedules, and supporting documentation, including parent company standalone financial statements

Supervisory Responsibilities:  N/A

Education Required: Bachelors degree in accounting, finance (or other related field)

Qualifications:    

  • Ability to disaggregate, analyze and reconcile consolidated financial data in an accurate and timely manner
  • Ability to work and effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical personnel across the organization
  • Strong organization skills with high level of attention to detail
  • Flexibility to handle conflicting priorities and work under strict deadlines
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERPs (SAP/BPC preferred)
  • Strong analytical skills
  • 7+ years of related experience
