Job description

This role is open to candidates based in LATAM, Africa, and Eastern Europe. Please note that as this role supports U.S.-based clients, candidates must be available to work during U.S. business hours aligned with the client’s time zone.

As the brand enters a new phase of growth, they are evolving their digital platform with a fresh creative direction that blends irreverent humor, distinctive voice, and genre-bending storytelling. Their goal is to create engaging content that resonates deeply with fandom culture while expanding the brand’s reach and digital presence.

Role Overview

The Social Media Manager will develop and execute content strategies that support the brand’s creative direction and digital growth. This role is responsible for planning content creation, managing posting schedules, and developing innovative campaign ideas that align with brand goals and engage the target audience. The strategist will collaborate closely with creators and internal teams to ensure content consistency, maximize engagement, and maintain a strong, recognizable digital presence.

Key Responsibilities

Content Strategy & Creation

  • Develop content strategies aligned with brand goals and target audience.

  • Collaborate with content creators to generate engaging and relevant content ideas.

  • Oversee content creation to ensure consistency in messaging and visual style.

Content Posting & Scheduling

  • Schedule content across platforms to maintain a consistent online presence.

  • Ensure content is published at optimal times to maximize audience engagement.

  • Manage and maintain a content calendar to track posting timelines.

Campaign Ideation & Development

  • Generate creative campaign ideas that resonate with the target audience.

  • Develop campaign concepts, themes, and content briefs for cross-platform execution.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure campaigns are executed seamlessly.

Qualifications

Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in content strategy, content creation, or digital marketing.

  • Proven track record managing content scheduling and campaign ideation.

Skills

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing trends and platform-specific content strategies.

  • Excellent project management and organizational skills to manage schedules and timelines.

  • Strong sense of humor and a powerful creative voice.

  • Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative content ideas.

  • Good understanding of AI tools and systems.

  • AI-native mindset with comfort experimenting with AI and automation tools to improve efficiency and scale results.

  • Experience using AI-powered platforms for content creation, ideation, and optimization.

  • Familiarity with tools and workflows for social listening, data scraping, and automated outreach.

  • Ability to leverage automation and workflow integrations to streamline repetitive tasks and surface actionable insights.

  • Interest in using AI to amplify engagement, improve targeting, and enhance marketing performance.
