Roles & Responsibilities

Minimum 10 years of IT experience
Hands-on IBM Mainframe skills: COBOL, DB2, CICS, and JCL
Knowledge of MQ, Stored Procedures, DB Triggers, SPUFI, SCLM, and IMS/DB is a plus
Retail domain experience, strong analytical and excellent communication skills

Requirements:

Design, develop, test, and maintain IBM Mainframe applications using COBOL, DB2, CICS, and JCL
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues; perform root cause analysis and implement fixes
Collaborate with business analysts, QA, and global teams to deliver high-quality mainframe solutions
Ensure coding standards, performance tuning, documentation, and participate in code reviews

Job description

Job Title: Sr. Mainframe Developer
Location: Remote
Experience: Minimum of 10 years of IT experience

Required Skills:

Strong technical hands-on experience in IBM Mainframes, COBOL, DB2, CICS, and JCL.
Knowledge of MQ, Stored Procedures, DB Triggers, SPUFI, SCLM, and IMS/DB would be a plus.
Experience in the retail business domain would be an added advantage.
Strong analytical skills are essential.
Excellent communication skills are required.
