Position Description

 

Job Title: SCC Consultant

Department:  Statistics Consultation Center (SCC) 

Reports To: SCC Student Manage and SCC Director          

Location:  Remote

Employment Status: Part Time

 

Summary

SCC Consultants are PAU students who provide statistical and methodological consultation to other PAU students for doctoral dissertation and other research projects. They are the primary “workers” in the PAU SCC.

 

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

  • Receive statistics consult from SCC Student Manager
  • Make first contact with and meet with student client to discuss statistical issue/question(s)
  • Provide answer(s) to specific research issue/question(s) and 
  • Research solution(s) to issue/question and contribute to SCC resource library as necessary
  • Other duties as assigned by SCC Student Manager and/or SCC Director
