About the role We’re hiring an AI Automation & Platform Manager to help build the next stage of The Asset Finance Shop. This person will own the design, build, and management of our internal automations, AI systems, online platforms, and Claude environment. The role is part builder, part operator, and part team leader.
You’ll work across HubSpot, Claude, MCP tools, online forms, lead flows, internal dashboards, and client-facing digital experiences. You’ll also help hire, manage, and improve a small team of AI-capable support staff who can help maintain systems, prompt workflows, content operations, and process automation. This role is ideal for someone who can combine hands-on technical execution with commercial thinking. We don’t need a pure coder who builds in isolation. We need someone who can build practical systems that save time, improve lead handling, support brokers, and create a better client experience.
What You'll Do
You'll be the kind of person who:
- Build and maintain internal online platforms, portals, dashboards, and workflow tools
- Design and improve HubSpot automations, workflows, forms, pipelines, sequences, and reporting systems
- Set up, manage, and optimise Claude for business use across teams
- Manage Claude MCP environments, integrations, tool access, and operational reliability
- Create AI-driven systems for lead qualification, note handling, follow-up support, document collection, reporting, and staff productivity
- Build automation between HubSpot, calling/SMS systems, forms, databases, and other business tools
- Identify manual admin bottlenecks and replace them with reliable automated workflows
- Develop SOPs, prompt libraries, guardrails, and internal documentation for AI use
- Hire, train, and manage AI-savvy support staff or contractors
- Oversee quality control for AI-assisted outputs across sales, operations, marketing, and customer support
- Work directly with leadership to turn business ideas into usable systems quickly
- Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve automation accuracy and output quality

Requirements
What You Bring
We're looking for someone who:
Must-have skills
- Strong experience with automation platforms, APIs, AI tooling, and no-code/low-code systems
- Hands-on experience with Claude, prompt design, AI workflows, and MCP-style tool environments
- Experience building practical business systems, not just writing code
- Strong understanding of HubSpot CRM, workflows, automations, forms, and pipeline logic
- Ability to connect multiple tools into one working operational system
- Experience managing contractors, virtual assistants, or technical support staff
- Strong problem-solving skills with a commercial mindset
- Ability to move fast, communicate clearly, and build things that are actually useful
Nice-to-have
- Experience in finance, broking, lending, or lead-generation businesses
- Experience with Aircall, Dialpad, SMS tools, reporting dashboards, or document collection workflows
- Familiarity with internal portals, client onboarding systems, and CRM-integrated web tools
- Experience with databases, frontend tools, and lightweight web app deployment
- Understanding of data privacy, permission control, and operational AI governance
Ideal candidate
You’re someone who sees a messy manual process and immediately thinks about how to systemise it. You’re comfortable inside AI tools, but you also understand that the end goal is business performance, not just cool tech. You can build, improve, document, and manage. You’re commercially sharp, technically capable, and able to lead others.
