Job description

We seek an experienced and detail-oriented HR Manager to oversee and streamline our human resources operations. This role will work closely with leadership to manage recruitment, onboarding, compliance, payroll support, and employee lifecycle processes. You’ll be the go-to person for all HR matters, ensuring legal compliance and fostering a positive team culture across all locations, with a strong focus on Ohio and Indiana.

Responsibilities

● Manage end-to-end recruitment across all company locations (with a focus on Ohio and Indiana)

● Vet and screen candidates effectively to ensure a strong cultural and skills fit

● Draft and send offer letters, manage pre-employment paperwork, and ensure compliance with hiring laws

● Lead onboarding sessions and training for new hires

● Support day-to-day HR tasks, including employee relations, records management, and policy enforcement

● Assist with payroll coordination and ensure timely and accurate payroll submissions

● Maintain a working knowledge of employment laws and practices, especially in the U.S.

● Communicate clearly and consistently with team members and leadership

● Listen to and interpret audio recordings as part of communications or training materials

Qualifications:

● Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar HR role

● Strong knowledge of U.S. hiring practices, especially in Ohio and Indiana

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

● Familiarity with HRIS systems and payroll processes

● Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

● Comfortable working remotely and across multiple time zones/locations
