  • Coordinate communications between site teams, suppliers, subcontractors, and clients; assist with procurement, purchase orders, and supplier coordination
  • Support invoicing, cost tracking, financial administration, and help maintain health and safety documentation and site compliance records

Job description

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Administrator to support the day-to-day operations of a growing construction and civil engineering business by working closely with the leadership team. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to be involved in everything – acting as a right-hand person to management, helping keep projects, administration, and operations running smoothly.


The role would suit someone with 2–5 years experience in construction, infrastructure, or civil engineering, who is looking to grow their career and take on increasing responsibility over time.



Key Responsibilities


Provide direct administrative and operational support to senior management

Act as a right-hand support to the leadership team, helping coordinate daily operations

Assist with project administration across multiple construction / civil engineering projects

Manage project documentation, drawings, reports, and compliance paperwork

Track project timelines, schedules, and site updates

Coordinate communication between site teams, suppliers, subcontractors, and clients

Assist with procurement, purchase orders, and supplier coordination

Support with invoicing, cost tracking, and financial administration

Help maintain health & safety documentation and site compliance records

Organise meetings, reports, and internal documentation

Assist with general operational tasks across the business


Requirements


2–5 years experience in administration, ideally within construction or civil engineering

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple tasks across different projects

Confident communicator with a proactive attitude

Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Experience working with construction documentation or project coordination is highly beneficial

A hands-on mindset and willingness to get involved wherever needed
