Roles & Responsibilities

  • NetSuite experience essential; provide first- and second-line user support for a Financial ERP system
  • Experience with Emburse (Chrome River) travel and expense reimbursement; ability to troubleshoot and manage reimbursements

Requirements:

  • Provide Europe-wide NetSuite user support via ticketing; administer roles/permissions, configure settings, monitor modules; escalate to NetSuite support or Macrofin and manage third-party SuiteApps (e.g., ZoneCo)
  • Act as Emburse travel reimbursement expert; troubleshoot for Finance users; manage Emburse entities, VAT setups, and monitor usage/charges; coordinate with Emburse partner; maintain Emburse integrations with NetSuite and Workday
  • Assist NetSuite implementation projects; support requirements gathering, configuration, testing, and go-live activities; prepare system documentation, training materials, and knowledge-transfer resources
  • Undertake data management and governance; perform data imports/exports/migrations, data cleansing, and maintain saved searches, reports, and dashboards; ensure data quality and adherence to governance policies

Job Summary:

Modaxo is seeking a Financial Systems Support Analyst with hands-on NetSuite experience . The role involves supporting users in the use of our different financial systems, notably NetSuite, our ERP system and Emburse, our Travel reimbursement system. The role also involves supporting improvements and implementations of both systems.
This remote position open to candidates based in Portugal, Poland or UK, requiring occasional travel across EMEA region, typically once per quarter.

Job Description:

NetSuite

Our aim is to have all our Businesses Live on NetSuite by the end of 2026. Currently about half of our Portfolio is using NetSuite ( December 2025). Provide support to NetSuite Users across Europe, via a Ticketing system. Note our aim is to have a super user across Groups and within our larger Businesses, who will provide basic user support, notably for new users. However the aim of this support is as follows :

Systems administration

  • Manage user roles, permissions, and access controls to ensure appropriate system access across the organisation.

  • Configure system preferences, settings, and customisations in line with business needs.

  • Monitor and support key system modules to maintain stability, performance, and reliability.

  • Escalate complex cases to NetSuite Support or our implementation partner Macrofin as required and manage tickets through to closure.

  • Manage and maintain third-party SuiteApps (e.g., Zone&Co), including setup, ongoing monitoring, troubleshooting, and coordination with external vendors for timely issue resolution.

User Support

  • Provide on-going support to system users, answering questions about functionality, troubleshooting issues, guidance on best practices and providing training as needed

  • Create and maintain user documentation, training materials, and resources for the business

  • Collate user feedback and suggestions relative to system improvements and process improvements

Configuration & Customisation

  • Customise forms, fields, records, workflows, and reports aligned to the business

  • Implement and maintain integrations with third-party applications

  • Develop and maintain saved searches, reports, dashboards aligned to business requirements

Data Management

  • Undertake data imports, exports, and migrations whilst ensuring data accuracy

  • Troubleshoot data-related issues and perform routine data cleansing activities as needed

  • Adhere to governance policy procedures and maintain data quality

Continuous improvement

  • Identify opportunities for process optimisation and automation within the NetSuite environment.

  • Stay informed on new features, upgrades, best practices relating to NetSuite and associated integrations.

Implementations and Project Support

  • Assist in NetSuite implementation projects, supporting requirements gathering, configuration and testing activities

  • Assist with the setup of new modules, features, SuiteApps, ensuring alignment with design and requirements

  • Collaborate with implementation partners and internal stakeholders to ensure solutions follow best practices

  • Prepare system documentation, configuration notes, training materials, and knowledge transfer resources ahead of go-live

  • Contribute to continuous improvement based on learnings from new deployments and user feedback.

Emburse – Travel Reimbursement System

  • Emburse ( also known as Chrome River) is currently used in the majority of our Businesses as the default tool for Travel and Expense Reimbursement

  • Via various Learning methods, become an expert in Emburse Travel Reimbursement to be  able to trouble shoot problems for Finance Users

  • Manage the relationship with our Customer Services Partner at Emburse

  • Be able to set up new legal entities on Emburse (with support initially)

  • Build an understanding of the VAT methods used across Europe within Emburse, to be able to advise on the correct set ups

  • Maintain the integration process between Emburse and GP and Emburse and NetSuite

  • Monitor usage and charges for the system

  • Update Group approval levels

  • Control the Workday integration to NetSuite, which updates the user information to Emburse

Other

  • Whilst this position is focused on Netsuite  and Emburse, there could be a requirement going forward to work on other system implementations and integrations for Finance

Personal Specification

  • Experience of performing first and second level support to users of a Financial ERP system (NetSuite experience is essential)

  • Knowledge of a reimbursement system ( Emburse experience desirable). Familiarity with best practice in travel expense reimbursement management.

  • Strong organizational skills. Ability to work independently.

  • High computer literacy, with particular reference to accounting and management software and their application in a software / project environment.

  • Self-starter, ability to work independently

  • Ability to build trust relationships with other members of the Finance and IT teams
