  • Build and maintain a deep, engaged pipeline of IT candidates and conduct comprehensive technical and behavioral interviews
  • Collaborate with sales and leadership to understand client needs and deliver high-quality candidate submissions quickly

Job description

We are looking for a new Recruiter to add to our team! This role requires full-cycle recruiting expertise and a proactive drive to identify and engage both active and passive IT professionals. You will partner closely with sales and leadership to move quickly on client requirements, build deep candidate pipelines, and deliver exceptional staffing results across contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire roles. This is a great position for someone who thrives on the chase, hates losing, and delivers results with speed and quality. ***We are open to remote candidates in the Eastern Timezone***


Required Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of hands-on IT recruiting or IT staffing experience (preferably in an agency or staffing firm)
  • Demonstrated success in sourcing, qualifying, and closing IT candidates in competitive markets
  • Experience using Indeed, LinkedIn Recruiter, and at least one Applicant Tracking System (ATS) as core recruiting tools (We use Zoho)
  • Proven ability to leverage Boolean search, advanced filters, and multi-channel sourcing strategies
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • Strong understanding of IT roles, terminology, and technology stacks
  • High sense of urgency, excellent communication skills, strong follow-through, and a performance-driven mindset

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience recruiting for public sector, higher education, or regulated environments
  • Existing network of IT candidates in Virginia or across the Mid-Atlantic
  • Experience filling contract and contract-to-hire positions with speed and accuracy
  • Prior collaboration with IT sales or account executives


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting for a wide range of IT positions including infrastructure, cybersecurity, software development, cloud, data, project management, and more
  • Execute aggressive, proactive sourcing strategies to uncover passive candidates on LinkedIn, Indeed, referrals, networking groups, and other channels
  • Build and maintain a deep, engaged pipeline of IT candidates for current and future needs
  • Conduct comprehensive technical and behavioral interviews
  • Collaborate with sales and leadership to understand client needs and provide high-quality candidate submissions quickly
  • Negotiate compensation and offers with professionalism and confidence
  • Manage multiple urgent requisitions in a fast-paced environment
  • Maintain complete and accurate data within the ATS and ensure consistent workflow documentation
  • Deliver a high-touch candidate experience while operating with urgency and competitive energy
